Coming down from a pretty disappointing Nagoya Castle visit I saw the picture of a “Castle Parfait” and decided to treat myself. I came up shortly after opening , the store was mostly empty, the staff was welcoming and guided me to a table. I ordered some Takoyaki and the Castle Parfait. Takoyaki were average, I would recommend to skip them unless you really want a salty snack before hitting the parfait. The parfait itself was pretty much like the picture and as delicious as it looks. The cup felt a bit small but I struggled a bit to finish it so overall it was satisfying enough for me. The music a bit loud to my tatste especially this early in the morning, it made me want to leave as soon as the meal finished. Table 1 is located near the the toilet and the trays for the staff, I highly suggest you don’t sit there- ask the staff to change you if you get seated there, is the worst place in the restaurant. Overall it’s a quite satisfying experience for me, the food was good, not too expensive for the location, I wouldn’t take lunch here but I would definitely stop for some sweets.

The place is very spacious and ambience is very nice - giving cafe vibes, plus the staff there are so sweet! We ordered: Cheesy curry rice with chicken bites Salmon avocado lasagne Aranchini; tomato basil bites Caesar Salad Spicy chicken Everything was amazing I would go back to Nagoya just for this to be honest If you have the time definitely try the cheesy curry rice and the tomato basil bites!

The food here is delicious and perfectly seasoned — tasty without being too salty. Their baked rice is honestly one of the best I’ve had in Nagoya! The meat sauce has a lovely hint of sweetness, and everything tastes fresh. I’ll definitely drop by every year whenever I visit Nagoya.

I come here with my girlfriend, I’m Italian and I wanted to try something different, I found out that the chef has been working in Milano for many years, I took the shrimp lasagna and it was so good. Very good mixing of food cultures! Highly recommend!
